Give Current Column value in a measure - DAX

    Hi All,

New here so please be patient. I have been building a tabular/Pivot DB for my organization. It has been going good thus far besides some particular tables I am working with. I'm trying to build a measure which will give the current value of a row's column through time (don't care about the grand total as it is irrelevant to the data). The problem is I guess is any calculation I do adds duplicate values I want to exclude. I have done a lots of variations and different functions but I can't seem to get it working. Probably easier if I example the data, I have attached a sample of how the data is.

So I want the DAX formula to give me the "Value 1" of any particular "Type" through time. So for "Type 1," if I built a graph ideally the X-axis would be date and the Y would be the value. Which would show it staying level until it increased to "89" on 1/3/15. Hope this makes sense and I appreciate any feedback!
