    Is it possible to divide a column into two colours on a column chart?

    Is it possible to divide a column into two colours on a column chart?

    I am guessing it probably isn't. I have tried looking all around the internet for advice. I know I can divide the column into two different columns, and maybe this would be the best route. The problem is that the graph doesn't look as good in that case.

    it sounds to me like two columns is the right answer - there are some formatting tricks you can do to eliminate the gap between the two columns or create some overlap or you can change the chart type and stack them, depending on how you wanted the colors divided...

    can you upload a desensitized sample of your data and an example of your desired result?
