I have a pivot table with dates as part of a report filter (they are NOT a row or column)
Is there a way to modify it to let me choose like "After 4/1/2015" instead of just each individual date?
Thanks

No - if you want to use date filters, then the date needs to be a row or column field. Otherwise, you could add a field to your data table with a comparison like
=A2>DATEVALUE("4/1/2015")
And use that TRUE/FALSE as the page filter.

Okay I added the calculated field, but not sure what the next step is?
Some of them show true, some show false. Some of the rows have data from before AND after the date.
I can't use a calculated field as a report filter so not sure what to do now.
Not a calculated field in your pivot table, but as an extra column of formulas in your data source, so that each date is evaluated. Then you can use that column of formulas as the page field, set to TRUE.
