Colouring a graph

Hello

I have created a scatter plot chart but want to change the colour in the background to reflect scale of impact from low medium High blue amber red in a gradient so colours merge gradually. Excel only has two presets in 2003. and want colour to change from bottom left to top right. Does anyone know how i could do this or have a macrio?

Add 2 series to secondary axis and format as stacked column charts.
The apply 2 colour gradients to each data point to give the effect of 3 colours.

Almost does it but need the colours to go diagonally from bottom left top bottom right so if colour 1 was red and colour two was yellow would selct diagonal down.

then use area chart and change the gradient fill to be from corners
