I would like to shrink the size of my axis labels. Specifically, shrink it horizontally, and make labels "wrap". I'd then like the actual chart to take up more of the area. Unfortunately, I can't do this. Excel seems to have locked the ratio between the two. How can I fix this?
From what I can find, it looks like the bar chart is stuck using about 50/50 when you have long labels. You can make the chart skinnier, but it will keep about half the area filled with the text and half with the graph. I did find that if you switch it to a column chart instead, the words may not take up as much room.
