    Running Average Based on Current number of days in month

    Hi folks,

    What I do is track truck deliveries each day, and have some data for each such as number of gallons delivered, origin city, destination city, date and so forth. I am trying to calculate the daily avg number of gallons including deliveries up to current day, so it will change each day. I am thinking it somehow needs to divide the volume by a COUNT of number of current number of days, for example, up until yesterday, we have delivered 223,994 gallons, so 223,994 / 18 . Tomorrow, 230,000 / 19 . Any ideas?

    In a cell on row 4

    =c4/day(today())

    Then copy that cell down to match entries in column C.
