Refresh of Formulas in Pivot Tables

I have a pivot table summarizing ~ 7k line items of materials ordered. I have a formula written in one field of the pivot table to determine the percent of materials received (which equals RcvdQty/OrderQty). When updating the line item data as materials are received, the data in this formula field does not auto-update. If I select Refresh, the field becomes "#NAME?". What am I doing wrong?

If you pivot table keeps changing sizes, I don't think a formula can be used unless you redefine the range.

I don't understand why this would be the case. One of the other columns of the pivot table is a sum of the order totals, and that field auto updates with every new entry. Why would one column auto update while another is unable to do so?
