Graphing Work Job Periods over next three years

    Hi,

My associates have jobs to do over the next three years. Each job is approximately 6 months long and they have about 70 each. I have inputted each job into excel as follows:

Job Name Start Date Completion Date Worker
    San Fran-PM 1-Oct-2016 31-Mar-2017 Sarah
    Ithica-FM 1-Dec-2015 31-May-2016 Jim
    etc.

I want to show on a graph the concentration of jobs over the next three years so that visually we can look and see how busy each associate will be. I'm thinking it may be best to show a timescale with time on the x axis, and then somehow plot each job. In any given month, each associate of course will be in the middle of several jobs. For example, Sarah may be working on, say, 20 jobs (some just starting and some nearing completion) and Jim may be working on 14.

I'm at a loss on how to show this visually. The purpose of the graph is to see who is busiest in each month/year over the next three years.

    Thanks.

    CF

Probably good idea will be to list days in this period and then use COUNTIFS to count jobs, which on given date already started + not finished yet + are assigned to given person like:
