Dear Gurus,
1. I have a small data table with data against a non continuous range of dates.
2. A pivot table then summarizes that table.
3. A pivot chart with dates on x-axis shows only the dates in the pivot, and not a continuous range of dates. So it gives no sense of time scale.
The other internet answers are not working for me, e.g...
1. The tick box "show items with no data" in the pivot table's date field settings is not solving it.
2. In pivot chart axis options I have "Interval between tick marks" set to 1 (and the axis is set to date format) but still no luck.
So it either isn't possible, or Excel hates me
My actual spreadsheet is attached. The one I use has a very basic macro in it, so I've also included one without a macro if you prefer (all the macro does is refresh the pivot). But both are there in case you think the macro may be messing with the sheet in some way.
If you can solve this, you're a total legend
Thanks
Bob
