Remove border from legend entry without removing border from pie chart

You can't. The formatting of the slice is repeated in the legend entry. Without that consistency the legend could become useless.

You can however manipulate the chart such that the legend appears how you want.
You need to duplicate the current data set so the names are repeated. Then select each of the duplicate data points in turn and remove border formatting.
Finally delete each of the original legend entries that are border.
