Creating a formula in a pivot table while using another calculated item in the pivot

I am trying to create another column in my pivot table that calculates the percentage of one value over another. The denominator is sum function and nominator is count function.


# of Submittals OA BG check Hires %of OA
372 14 79 36
241 12 66 32


This is some data from my pivot table. The values under the # of submittals is count of submittals and value in the OA column is sum of OA. I am trying to make a formula in the pivot to divide the value in the OA column by # of submittals.
So, I want =14/372 is 4% under the % of OA column.

Help is very much appreciated

In ver 2010, so I assume similar in 2013, you would:

• go to the 'Options' tab, 'Calculations' pane, 'Fields, Items and Sets' icon.

• Choose 'Calculated Field'.

• Give it the name '% of OA' and the Formula
