I am new to using charts and graphs in excel and this may be super simple, but if someone could walk me through, that would be great!
I have a simple list (see attachment) that I would like to keep exactly how it is. I want the (pie) graph to show each different category and the total amount spent in that category. I'm sure it's easily done by re-sorting the data and putting it all into the same rows, but like I've already mentioned, the data needs to stay where it is. It seems redundant to create a new list just for the chart. I don't see a way to use formulas for the pie graph, so please help me out if you can!!
