Subgroup in stacked column chart

Hi all

I have a kind of a visual issue. I have this chart:

The chart contains 6 series in each stacked column. The four of those is a subgroup called "potential"(1,2,3 and 4). Can I get the chart to show that these four are a subgruoup linked together? Or do I manually need to find some colors that can illustrate that?

The very first solution that springs to mind is, create a helper column "Potential" that's just the sum of 1 - 4 and graph that instead, so you're feeding three numbers (Fulfilled, Potential, Necessary) into the stacks instead of six.

If it's colors, then I'd probably make them all shades of orange-yellow so you're getting that red-yellow-green stoplight spectrum.

You could also use Clustered + Stacked Column charts (Here's Jon Peltier's guide), and then used the summed potential plus a dupe of Fulfilled as invisible stacks to "offset" series 1 - 4 into a different horizontal band in the same category?

Those are my thoughts.
