Question Cross platform Dynamic Line Graph that changes position to the bottom of my document?

    Hi,

I have a document that is updated every day, with new data added to column A (date) B (number) C (number) D (number).

I have the top 3 rows frozen so that the headings can always be seen.

I would like to make a line graph that automatically graphs the last 30 days worth of entries.

This would also need to update the graphs position to be at the bottom of the document each time the document is updated (I tried to set this up using freeze frames and splitting, but it seems that you cannot freeze columns vertically, and you cannot use both freeze frames and splitting together at the same time)...

The document will be updated from both mac and PC versions of Excel.

    Is this possible in excel?

if so, can anyone point me in the right direction?

if this cannot be done, can anyone suggest an alternative software solution?

    Thanks in advance!

    Matt

Not sure if this is what you were looking for since there wasn't an example attached, but I used a series of dynamic vlookups for the line graph to update based the latest 30 days. Hope it helps!

    Thanks greatjobtoday,

The example was a big help!

I managed to sort out my document and now have a nice graph updating with the 30 last entries.

I ended up moving my graph up the top of my layout inside my freeze frame heading section so that it is always visible.

    problem solved.

    Thanks for the help!
