Creating a chart with more than two types of information.

    Hi guys,

I was hoping to chart some information but I am not able to figure it out. Hopefully you guys can help.

    I have the following information:

Sector - For example Energy (20%), Material (30%), Staple (50%)

    Company - Energy Company 1 (50%), Energy Company 2 (50%)
    Material Company 1( 10%), COmpany 2 (80%), Company 3 (10%)

I want the chart to reflect the three sectors and if I hover my mouse of the sector I would see the company names that belong under that sector.

    Thanks for the help

What kind of chart do you want? Stacked columns? Kindof sounds like you want a Marimekko chart.

Getting the labels to popup on hover as a tooltip-like entity will be difficult; it has to be VBA, and while people have discussed doing it, I've never implemented it myself.
