Count: number of cell values in each unique column sub_class expressed by column class

This works with 25 examples however if I extend the food_class attributes to 5, the food_sub_class attributes to 300 and sustain the number of food_seeded to 3 and the number of permutations to 2000 under each food_class -- is there a way to summarize the pivot elegantly so it counts only the number of food_seeded attributes for each food_sub_class, as expressed by each food_class?

What I'm looking to do is summarize more elegantly the top pivot (which I've added to the right of yours) in the attached more elegantly (i.e. without having to create multiple pivots and formulas referencing those pivots) -- if there is a way to do so... ?

See the attached file, I have added a helper column and updated the Pivot Table to reflect the changes. See if this suits your requirement.
