    Help with Doughnut graph

    Hi All

Newbie here and apologies if this has been covered before - I've been searching around for help on this issue and I haven't come across an answer as yet.

I'm working on a project with a client to look at risk maturity ratings for a number of tasks. Tasks will be assigned a value between 0 and 100. Each graph will have 3 values i.e. current rating '15' predicted rating for 18 months '25' and predicted rating for 36 months '50'

I want to use a doughnut graph to visualise the values, so if you can imagine, the 'whole' doughnut would be a circle (in a neutral of grey colour) and then each of the values added to the doughnut graph. When I try and do this in Excel, it is converting the values into a percentage of 100, as opposed to just plotting each of the values. No matter how I try to plot this, using multiple series or variations of the data, I cannot get Excel to treat the values 'as is'.

I hope this makes sense? I'll try and post a picture (if I can to illustrate what I am trying to do).

    Thanks
    Chris

Hi DBY - thanks for the quick response.

Yes that is pretty much it! My efforts have the 3 values filling the entire doughnut.

    Hello
The circle of the doughnut is 360 degrees, so subtract the total of Current; 18 Months and 36 Months from that and that's the value of the grey portion of the doughnut. Then use the four values to create your chart.
