Pivot Chart Linking Help

Hey all,

I need to create a powerpoint with about 40 different charts on each page. I need to be able to use the pivot link so that when I refresh my pivot tables data quarterly the charts will automatically update.

My issue is that because I've linked my charts to update every time I move my pivot table to see a different brand or timeframe every chart changes. Is there a way to use the refresh funtion of the link while having each chart stay the way I originally created them?

I have some code that writes from Excel to Powerpoint. I will dig it up. You might be able to modify it. I found it a lot faster to "push" the data from Excel to Powerpoint than to "pull" it from Excel to Powerpoint.

You can loop through your values, set your pivot tables, and then push the results to Powerpoint.

My corporate firewall is seeing the code tags and thinks I'm sending HTML.

What I have is a blank powerpoint presentation with a cover page, headers, footers and other "boilerplate" text that I use as a template. I make a copy of it, rename it and fill in the copy.

I also have an Excel table that maps the data wherever it may be in Excel to a page in the PP presentation, and tells it where to put it.
