x axis labels not showing
I am trying to create an x y scatter chart with numbers on the x axis that i have formatted as text because i need them to be equally spaced apart. When i inserted the chart the x axis was numbered 1,2,3... How can I show the x labels and have them evenly spaced apart?
An XY scatter chart expects actual numbers for the X axis data. It cannot recognize "numbers stored as text", so Excel uses count numbers (1,2,3...) instead.
What do you mean "you need them to be equally spaced apart"? Perhaps you are looking for a line chart rather than an XY scatter?
