I have the results from a 1500 person survey in a database. The individual survey responses are each row, each column represents a question. Several rows represent various attributes that were ranked. I want to isolate these 20 rows that represent rankings. Then I want to find the average ranking given to each row (aka averaging each survey ranking for that attribute). I'm not figuring out how to essentially average an entire column of data using pivot. Help!
I was going to attach a file, but that button isn't working. In the file - There is a pivot started where I wasn't making much headway and also a tab called "desired outcome"
This is what I figured manually, but know there has to be a way to do it more quickly using pivot tables.
Thanks!
