To change hover label information of Scatter chart

When making a Scatter chart, is there a way of editing the text in the hover label description? It automatically reads "Series 1 Point "x" (x, y)".
I want don't understand why it insists on being "point x", in stead of my data labels. i.e. "Series 1 Point "A" (x, y)"
I have made data Labels to the dots by using the 'XY Chart Labels' add-in. I would like to have the label show when hovering over the dots. Is there a way to do this in Excel?!?!? perhaps a different add-in is needed?
