Hi all,
I'm attempting to put in a Timeline slicers into my pivot however it returns an error saying "we can't create a timeline for this reporting because it doesn't have a field formatted as a date".
I believe this it due to me having the dates of the report in the header and data beneath. Is there anyway I can use a timeline on this data and set it up without manipulating the data?

not an answer to your question but,
since the date is in the header the date is "formated" as text, not as a date.
Notice my main language is not English.

Yeah the row is in date format. I have transposed the data and I am able to insert a timeline.

Thanks however I wanted to add a timeline without manipulating my data.
And if you don't make a table of your data, would that help?
