XY Chart Prediction (difficult to paraphrase)

Long story short, I have a ton of data that i have set up on an XY Graph in excel. Won't lie, it took me forever to figure out how to even do that. Now, what i am curious to know is that if there is a way i can have excel run a prediction of what could come next based off of the data i have already input into the graph. Twice a week i run viscosity and elasticity testing on asphalt, so my data is all over the place, its not 1 straight line, otherwise im not sure i would need to be asking this. But ive got 5 points of data each trial, and it would be very helpful to me to know if there is a way to make this into a predictive chart instead of just raw data. Will be more than happy to upload what ive got if itll help.

The closest thing excel has built into the charts is its chart trendline functionality https://support.office.com/en-us/art...4-901a745842ad

I personally prefer to perform the regressions in the spreadsheet, so that I am not limited to the equation forms in the chart trendline (I usually like to fit viscosity to something like ln(visc)=A+B/T, for example). Are you familiar with regression (whether in Excel or not)?

No, im not at all. I actually have very very little experience with excel and this is my first time even entering my data this way. The graphs themselves look kind of crazy and confusing to me, but being able to highlight each plot point is a huge asset. Ive uploaded it(hopefully within this post if youd like to take a look)

Your data do look quite random -- like there is no correlation at all between X and Y.

Excel (or any other programming language for that matter) cannot fix bad data. At this point, I would suggest that you pull a number out of a hat and call that your prediction. If this were my data, I would say that I needed more information to make a better prediction.
