2-axis chart with jump function an numerical values

    Hi guys,

I want to represent my straightaway connected measurment points over time in seconds an similarly my engine speed in rpm as a jump function.

The problem is that I can manipulate my x values for my engine speed to get the jump function in a usual chart, but as soon, as I try to combine it with the normal values of my measurement points the x-axis completely changes itīs scaling. I tried anything in the axis options but nothing worked and I canīt find anyone having the same problem, as all the entries online I can find are just about presenting you data by months, or other classes, but not a straight numerical time axis.

In the attached excel (2016) sheet I filled in the data and the two y-values (mixing quality, engine-speed) I want to fit on a continuous time axis (x-axis).

    Can anyone help me out?

If I understood you well, you want to have both parameters presented on one graph (and looking this way as they look now on 2 separate graphs).

Add second series to first graph:

make sure it is a scatterplot (XY) type and presented on secondary axis.
