X-axis on my scrolling chart becomes squished when I extend the range of values I want

I'm not sure what is happening and need some help figuring out why my scroll bar-equipped chart is getting squished together when I extend the range of values.

I've attached the spreadsheet for reference. If you click the plot area on the chart to outline the plot areas ( x- and y-values) to the left of the chart, you'll recognize that when you try to increase (i.e., extend) the range of values by dragging down it only makes the chart area worse by squishing everything together. I want to plot on the x-axis the dates between Dec-28 and Aug-07, and for it to be able to be scrolled through without any of it being squished together.

If anyone could take a quick look I would appreciate it, as I am unable to identify the issue.

The problem may be that the chart stays at a defined width & you want to add extra dates of values which the chart tries to accommodate.

Could you summarise to weeks instead of day dates?

The chart 'width' can't move to accommodate extra data & has to 'squish' the data it is asked to display.

I have been asked to make the chart such that it goes day-to-day, and do not think that going week-to-week will work.

Is it possible to increase the width of the chart so that I can add the extra dates?
