    Automatically extend line graph when adding more data into a table.

    Hi all,

    I created an Excel document which automatically creates a bar chart, pie chart and line graph on the third sheet when I add data into the first sheet.
    My question is: how do I automatically extend the line graph on the third sheet when I add more data in the first sheet?

    I created and uploaded an anonymised dataset. Hopefully this clarifies what I intend to do.

    Thanks in advance!
    Regards.

    If you change the formulae in B19 of the Inventory Level sheet to this:

    =IF('data input'!D46=0,NA(),'data input'!D46)

    and make similar changes to the other cells in that lower block, then you can avoid the false tail to your line graph as weeks 7, 8 and 9 will not be plotted,

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Pete,
    Thanks for your quick reaction. Literally copying and pasting the formula at B19 doesn't work for me.
    Should there be something between the brackets? Because these stay red in my formula...

    It might be that you use semicolons ( ; ) instead of commas ( , ) in formulae. I've attached the file with the amended formulae. If you don't want to see the #N/A errors in your table, you can use conditional formatting to hide them by setting the foreground colour to the same as the background colour.

    Hope this helps.
