Problems creating a bar or column chart based on dynamic offset ranges

I am probably being a bit obtuse here but I am struggling converting my offset tables into bar or column charts that will expand as rows are added. I have upload a simple version of what I am aiming for. In reality the main chart will have 80-100 rows of data and 3 columns. Any and all expertise/guidance gratefully acccepted

If I had a table the chart would include blank cells, I want the chart to expand as the rows are added

It is because tables in excel work on automatic nomenclature............. it does certain aspects for you automatically............ like updating formulas and charts

I would suggest...........Just convert the area to a table which is required.............anything added to it later would auto populate in the chart............... if you want to remove any column or row then you can un-select it in pivot properties.

thanks for your perseverance, I am having trouble with the table on my main sheet as it is based on an array formula and isn't expanding but I will keep at it.

    Hi,

If you have a formula array-entered into multiple rows, as opposed to an array formula in one cell per row, that will not work well with a table.
