color fill a curve to the Y-axis

Hi,

I have a curve that needs plotting in Y-direction (coded in vba), and I need to color-fill the positive x-axis values and leave negative values with no color fill. The chart area as far as I tried, fills the area "below" a curve, not toward left/right hand side of the curve.

Does anyone have a clue how I may do this?

This is a possible solution. It works, but it's painfully slow, making it almost useless. For my plot, I had to wait for about a minutes to create the shading!
