Formatting of SHOW DETAILS in PIVOT TABLE

Is there a way to format the result of the SHOW DETAILS when double clicking in the pivot table?

It takes the most basic formatting and makes it looks completely ugly.

I managed to change some of it by formatting the NORMAL in the styles. I want to adjust the columns widths, make it not banded rows and change default number formatting.

    Thanks

    Hi,

The number formatting is controlled by the Normal cell style. You can also create a new table style and set it as the default in order to change the format applied by the show details function. There is no option to autofit column widths though it might be achievable using code.

Hi, do you want to change the formatting of Show Details in PivotTable automatically for the new Table?
If yes, I suggest you record a macro of the formatting for the Table first, then when you create the Show Detail for PivotTable you can run the macro to format the Table.

Select a cell in any Excel Table in the workbook. If there aren’t any tables, double-click a pivot table data cell, to create one.
In the Ribbon’s Design tab, click the More drop down arrow for Table Styles
Right-click on the style that you want as the default Table Style
    Click Set As Default
Now, when you double-click a number cell in the pivot table, the new default style is used.
