How to remove right border/outline on an area chart?

    Hi Everyone,

I have an area chart and I like having the outline on the top of the chart, but not on the right side of the area chart? Looks like the return is dropping off to zero. Is there a way to turn off the outline on the right side of the chart, but keep it on the top of the data series. See image.

Will you please attach a sample Excel workbook? Please don't attach a picture of one.

    1. Make sure that your sample data are REPRESENTATIVE of your real data. The use of unrepresentative data is very frustrating and can lead to long delays in reaching a solution.

    2. Make sure that your desired solution is also shown (mock up the results manually).

    3. Make sure that all confidential information is removed first!!

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment. So, to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: Just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

No. To get the effect you want you would need to remove the border from the area series and add another series with same data and plot as line.

If the rapid drop occurs in the line series you need to use empty data points or #N/A
