All,
Could you help with a waterfall graph. I have a starting revenue (say $100 million). I have an ending revenue (say $120 million). Of that $20 million variance there are 6 categories of variances that can be positive or negative.
I'd like chart to step the $100 million with 6 variance categories up to the $120 million. The 6 variance categories can be positive or negative . But each next category is a continuation of the last one's.
I attached a graph similar to what it's look like with some sample data. The bars are a graphic version - not a live formula - of how the graph should look.
The tricky part is when it's a negative, the next category needs to continue from the bottom of the previous bar. If it's a positive, needs to continue from the top of the previous bar. And I would be repopulating the graph with other regions' data for a new graph for every region (and month). The 0's don't help either.
Thoughts? Links? (I have been looking at links can can kind of get the chart to work... but not well. That's why I'm coming to you gurus).
Thanks all.
