Hi, i have a workbook with several sheets. all of the charts disappeared from two of the sheets. There are still comments on the sheets. i checked Find/Replace --> Selection Pane and it doesn't list any charts so it doesn't appear that they're just hidden. also, the file size is smaller (7M instead of 9). i probably had about 20-30 charts on each of the sheets. No idea what i could have done or what could have happened. any ideas??

Depending on how you have things set up, hiding the data on which a chart is built will also hide the chart.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.
A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

Not that i'm aware of. The charts are not listed in the Selection Pane but the comments are. (Selection Pane is the only place i'm aware of that i could hide all the charts?) This is Excel 2013.

Yes, i agree with that. But i'm wondering how it could have happened, so it doesn't happen again.
