Chart formatting corrupted when moved to own sheet

I have several workbooks with a range of charts that were set up as worksheets of their own - have had no problems until recently when the formatting has become corrupted for no apparent reason, to the point where everything is completely re-sized and illegible (page zoom defaults to 392%, but re-sizing does not change the formatting). Example attached.

Attempts to recreate the charts also not working - everything looks OK when leaving the chart as an object within an existing worksheet, but any attempt to move the chart to a standalone sheet brings the same formatting errors. Have tried re-installing Office to no effect. General functionality of Excel appears to be fine otherwise.

    Any ideas?

    We can't work with images.
(How to) Upload a Workbook directly to the Forum
(please do not post pictures or links to worksheets)
    • Click Advanced next to Quick Post button at the bottom right of the editor box.
    • Scroll down until you see "Manage Attachments",
    • Click the "Choose" button at the upper left (upload from your computer).
    • Select your file, click "open", click "upload"
    • Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
    • Close the Attachment Manager window.
    • Click "Submit Reply"
Note: Please do not attach password protected workbooks/worksheets
Ensure to disable any Workbook Open/Autorun macros before attaching!

I am not able to duplicate your problem, either by cutting and pasting the graph to a new worksheet, or by selecting the graph, select MOVE to new sheet (chart1).
