Pivot Table Filter Date

I have a sheet which contain Project Name, Equipment Name, and Start date of Rent and Finish date of Rent. I want to make a pivot table which shows the no. of total equipment's expiring current month. I made a pivot table but I cant filter the current month date. could you please help. sheet is attached here. Thanks.

I (and some others) have difficulty downloading files from various cloud utilities such as dropbox. Please attach the file here.

To Attach a File:

1. Scroll down to the window below your post Additional Options
2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
3. Click the button.
4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
6. This will open a new window File Upload.
7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
10. Close the window and then click Submit.

If I understand correctly, that you would like to keep the row and column lables but filter to show current month, then the following should be sufficient.
I changed the layout of the pivot table to tabular.
I applied a label filter between 3/1/2017 and 3/31/2017.
