Is it possible to avoid empty space in the graph? I have 20 weeks but only 5 weeks of data are entered scattered and I only want to see those 5 week in the row rather then 20 at the same time.

I do know how to use Name manager one of the codes I use is =OFFSET(Lines!$O$121,0,0,COUNT(Lines!$A1:$A100),1) But it does not compress it, it only cuts off after 20th week.
This does not look like a case where dynamic named ranges will really help. We probably need to see how this fits into the rest of your spreadsheet file. The thing that will need to happen is you need to completely remove the blank rows in between entries. A lot of resolving that part of the problem is to understand why there are blank rows in the data.

My next thought is to use Autofilter to "hide" blank rows http://www.wikihow.com/Use-AutoFilter-in-MS-Excel . You may need to change your horizontal axis type to "text" rather than date or automatic. You may also need to format the chart so that it does not move or size with cells https://www.extendoffice.com/documen...-resizing.html
Does that work, or do you need something different?
