Can't Sorting pivot table value in excel 2016

Okay - I'm decent with excel, but I can't figure out a way to sort my pivot table.

Attached is my sample workbook. I want to sort Revenue by name and owner. Or just revenue by itself would be great. In my example, I've noted several items that are out of order. The rest of the fields must be in the table.

    thank you for your time.

    Hi igoodable,

The Pivot is sorting the Revenue based on the field just to the left (Product) as it normally would.

You have the option to remove the blanks in the Product Column but otherwise, the pivot is working correctly.

    Cheers

It is NOT sorting correctly, otherwise, the blank would not be on top. Additionally -row 22 and 27 is out of order. It should not be sorted by product. It should be shorted by Name - Column A then B.

What you WANT it to do & how it works are 2 different things.

You could try unchecking the Blank values in the Products field in the Pivot.

Otherwise, Good luck & all the best.

The blank cells are vital info. Can someone explain to me why product is included in the sort? My objective is to sort by column A then B.

Each field in a pivot table is a grouping and you cannot break those groups. If the total value for a product ranks it above another product, all the items for that product will appear, in order, above the next product.
