I need to know the best way to create a dashboard.
1. Do you save each Pivot Table with its Pivot Chart to a separate sheet in the workbook?
2. How do you get the background color for the dashboard? (gray or yellow or blue)
3. Do you just copy CTRL+C and paste each Pivot Chart from the sheet that it is on to the dashboard sheet?

The way that I do my dashboards is to utilize the 'Camera' option in the developer ribbon. (This may require activating the camera option onto the ribbon)
To capture the data I need I either highlight the range or create a separate area with the required 'culled' data, highlighting this, then clicking 'camera' - selecting the dashboard tab and choosing the area to paste the image. The background colour has been pre-selected so that the image sits on top of this. Images can be resized or moved around if necessary and will update anytime changes are made in the original tab. Formatting the selection should be done in the original tab 1st, which is why I normally set up a different range of cells with the data I want to show. Charts can be captured with the original format. Also, after getting the dashboard images into a display that I like I usually password protect the dashboard tab to prevent unauthorized changes.
The pivot table and chart guru's may have a better solution so I offer this as just one way of creating a dashboard.
