Calculating fields after combining tables with relationships

    Hi All,

I'm pretty new to Pivots and have come into some problems.

So basically, I have 2 tables, one is the revenue and the other is the costs.
And I am trying to create a pivot table that will help me comparing the revenue & costs of all the sales items.

Enclose is a sample of my attempts (2 versions) where I have managed to combine them together inside 1 single pivot table even though it is not perfect.
But I then come to the problem that I am unable to use any of the functions such as calculate fields, where I would need to further calculate the actual profit.
I believe it is because I am putting the revenues as a column rather as a value, but once I try to put it under values everything went awfully wrong.

Is there any work around for this to embed profit calculation inside the pivot table rather then doing a formula outside like right now?

    Regards,
