Scatter Chart Without a Vertical / Y Axis

Hi there.

I'd like to create a scatter chart with just a horizontal / axis so that the dot will appear on a single line with values between 1 - 5. Alternatively, a single horizontal bar chart with similar values would work, too. I can't seem to figure out a way to completely remove the vertical / Y axis.

I've been doing this with a manual method for a while, but it's time consuming. I've attached an image of this as an example of what I'd like to hopefully create automatically.

Thanks for any help you're wiling to provide! This is driving me nuts and I can't seem to find any relevant information on removing the Y axis from an Excel chart, so I'm starting to suspect that it can't be done.
