I'm doing swim team statistics.
I've got an image to add to explain.
1. Across the top are the weekly meets, shown simply as a date format.
2. On the left I've got swimmers' names and the strokes they swam.
3. then, moving to the right, you see the times they earned at each meet for that event.
What I would like:
1. An x-axis that shows the calendar dates
2. A y-axis that has zero 00:00.00 at the bottom and something slightly higher than the worst time at the top. (that way, the worst time isn't buried at the top of the frame and the best time isn't cluttered right at the bottom of the frame)
3. have the series shown as one stroke at a time--by way of a drop down box or even multiple check boxes.
What I have:
I made a dependent list box on the sheet already that lets me select a swimmer and then be given the appropriate drop down box that shows THEIR events from which to choose. This method would show only one series at a time.
However, in a perfect world I'd have the ability to check-box any of their strokes to show multiple series at once.
But, that would change the y-axis since some events have a much bigger time range. In that case I suppose I'd have to make an independent y-axis that isn't tied to the series max and min values?
I seem to recall an excel ad-on from long long ago that let you make custom axis that way.
