Copying an excel file with pivot

Hi,

I have some problems with my excel file.. What I'm doing for the past few years was copying the original file of my excel file and that's where I will edit/filter my pivot.. I've been doing this for so long but recently it broke.. See, now when I refresh my copied pivot file > edit/filter things > save it (an error pops up) > close copied excel file > open again > the filters and pivot is gone.. I'm having trouble in fixing this.. good thing it wasnt the original copy of the file..

We do this kind of method for business puposes, we cant edit the original file from there it needs to be edited / filtered on the copied file..

what kind of error? excel has many errors messages
try refresh original file (without changing anything) and see if error will appear
