Thank you for the assistance. The overall view is overcrowded and confusing. Is there a better way?
Try change chart type and choose the best for your needs
maybe this one
Maybe that way?
Hi. This is fantastic. But I do not know how to extend till Dec 16 and Dec 17. Please advise/assist to add 1 more coloumn for "Type C". Thank you for your lovely chart.
The chart is based on a pivot table. The data source for the pivot table is Table.
Add further data in the Table and refresh PT. By entering further data in the Table, add a date - the year and month will automatically appear (see formulas), Type and value.
Hi
I do not how to edit the pivot table:
1)Edit the name of the slicer - Type A=Inpatient, Type B=Home Visit, Type C=Total
2)Edit the Pivot Table to show Jan to Dec
Simply right click on the Pivot Table the click Refresh
I forgot to add about Jan-Dec (with your example)
- in C2: =TEXT([@Date],"mmm")
- Pivot table options
- Display
- untick Classic PivotTable.. blablabla
- Ok
- Right click on PT and Refresh
or like in att.

Hi. Thank you. Will definitely learn and master it. In the meantime, please assist with the current worksheet by removing "2" behind Jan (eg Jan2, Feb2....). Thank you.
Thank you for the link. I resolved my problem.
