Dates display out of sequence in pivot table

Good day to the helpful ones,
This is my first dabbling in pivot tables.
I attached a workbook with randomly populated data.
In the Data sheet is a date column showing dates from the earliest to the latest date of entries. Please note it runs from 1 Jun 17 to 25 Feb 18.
In the Data sheet all entries are sorted by date (Column A); oldest to newest.
In the Budget sheet the table however shows Jan and Feb (of 2018) before the Jul to Dec (2017) months. Ideally I would like to show the months in actual sequence of them occurring.
In the Dashboard sheet, the chart has a similar challenge.
Could somebody please advise how to have the dates/months displayed in the correct sequence in the Budget and Dashboard sheets?
    Thank you kindly.
    Bab

    at first glance...
Add Year to the Rows of Pivot Table Fields (on top) for both, chart and budget

My proposal - additional column "YY / MM". In a pivot table set as row labels sorted ascending.

    Sandy,
Thanks. It is as easy as falling out a tree - just let go.
I can kick myself for not working it out on my own.
    Much obliged.
    Cheers.

    You are welcome.

You need to remeber: Pivot Table is usually sorted by the first column
