How can I maintain the same colors when switching pivot table options?

Hi

I would like to keep the same chart colors when using slicers depending on the brand vendor.

However, let's assume my chart has 4 vendors

Vendor A - green bar
Vendor B - blue bar
Vendor C - yellow bar
Vendor D - red bar


If I pick the four vendors it will use the colors mentioned above but if i choose two vendors from the slicer, the colors will change and not maintain the original ones.

Is there a way to keep the same color to the desired vendor even if I choose different combinations within the slicer?

Attach a sample workbook, (not a picture). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Out Come (I reformatted manually the color to orange in the bellow chart, however, if I have more than 30 brands it will be difficult to reformat each of them for every chart)

you didn't say that in the post, so maybe VBA? Excel Programming / VBA / Macros

Well it's because I'm not sure what's the best solution, basically I just want that the Brand keeps the same color even when selecting different quantity of slicers.

If you set colours manually it should works for you. The problem is only a large number of brands
