Banded Rows for Pivotable

I'm trying to achieve the banding effect for my pivotable as shown on the right

However the banded row checkbox effect only gives me the effect on the left, which is not what I want

Is there any way to get my desired effect automatically? I'm trying to get the banding to follow the P/N

my reply is late but I'm revisiting this again because now I have need for it

The link does show an example of it but not how it's done, it even quotes that the banding effect I want is, and I quote "not possible with just the Excel Table format capabilities"
