PivotTable Report ,How to bring rows sub items to next column and repeat the parrent items

    Hi

In the attached workbook I have a Pivot-table Report within which I have parent items in first columns and then underneath them their child or sub items . What I would like to do is to bring those child items to next column and repeat the parent items against each child items. I have typed manually on sheet 2 what is required on the right side of the Pivot-table Report.

    Help would be greatly appreciated

    Best Regards

I'm on my phone now and couldn't see your sheet, but I think I know what you're looking for.

When you've clicked on the PivotTable:
Go to the Design Tab > Report Layout > Tabular Form. This will bring parent and child items into separate columns.
Go to the Design Tab > Report Layout > Repeat all item labels. This will repeat the parent.

This might be in slightly different places depending on your version and operating system, but you're looking for the same type of thing.

    Hi ivy

Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes indeed it is so. The only extra thing that I did was to select "Do not show subtotals" and the report layout was exactly what is on the right (the required).

    Much Much appreciated
