Column chart with gap only at the start

How can I make a column chart with no gaps between the columns, but with a small gap at the start before the first column?

You can do this by adding a nil field at the beginning and at the end.

Thanks. Is it then possible to reduce the width of that initial gap? It should only be 50% of the column width.
