Hi, I am a novice with pivot charts. I have a report with profit and losses made over a period of days. I would like to create a line chart showing the cumulative profit/losses with the amount of profit loss on the x axis and the the time and date showing on the y axis. Please could you give me instructions on how to do it so that I can learn to do it myself. Thank you.

Hi Humdingaling, thanks for the help. Unfortunately, you have the axes the wrong way round and I don't know how to change it myself. How do I bring up the pivot table fields to make changes?

so the first thing i did was create column C - Date Time
Combining both the date and time into one cell

based on new information provided
so i created a pivot table using range of Sheet1!$A$1:$F$2046 and placed it into sheet 2
then using the pivotchart option
created a line chart using row label of date & time and Sum of Cumulative in values
