Pivot table - how to get a % of grand total vs every year

    Hello,

How can I get the % of grand total. I have attached two pictures. One showing what I want, and the other of what I actually get.
Please note that this is only a sampling of my data. I have years from 2010 to 2017, and in column A, I have names of people for the rows.

    I want this.JPGWhat I get.JPG

    TIA,

    Jan

You can do this quite easily using PowerPivot, by creating the right measure(s). Hard to provide the specific formula without seeing your source data structure, but something like:

Put both measures in your pivot table as Values, and move Values above Year in your columns.

See attached workbook for worked example.

let Source = #table({"Question","Thread", "User"},{{"Answered","Mark Solved", "Add Reputation"}}) in Source

Thank you for your feedback. I will have to slowing walk through exercise since I am not familiar with Power Pivot.

    Kind regards,

With PowerPivot you can actually use your original structure and simply create a set that hides the percentage columns for each year.

I will give it a try with Power Pivot as soon as I can get to the task. I basically hid the other columns already, but manually.

    Kind regards,
    Jan
