How to hide rows without making Sunburst chart to disappear

Hi,
Last week I did a Sunburst chart and it was looking good. When I tried to hide the rows showing data for the chart, the chart disappeared. I clicked on to "Select Data Source" and found that the "Hidden and Empty Cells" button was disabled meaning I am not able to select it in order to further select the "Show data in hidden rows and columns" check box. I tried the same for the line chart appearing next to the Sunburst Chart. It worked for the line chart but not for the Sunburst Chart. I do not know why. Can you help? Thanks Ravi

As the new chart type do not appear to support showing hidden cells you will have to place the data on a hidden sheet if you don't want the data to be viewed.

If that is the only option for now, I will go for it.
